Children & Families

At Central Baptist, we want to help children and families grow in their relationship with God as they journey together and within our church whānau. Together, our role is to create space for the Holy Spirit to meet with our children so that as we journey together, our children will develop an authentic personal relationship with God.

Most Sunday mornings during the school term we run a range of programmes tailored to meet the age and stage of your children, with a focus of God at the centre. Each with a time of singing, prayer, engaging with the Bible, along with events such as crafts, hands on activities and games.

We believe that parents are the most influential ‘faith builders’ in a child’s life. As a great way to see your child grow in their faith, we encourage you to make opportunities to talk with them about your faith and God. Each week we provide parents with the information about the upcoming lesson, via our Facebook page or email, and encourage you to introduce the Bible story to your children at home before they come on Sunday.
