Most Sunday mornings during the school term we run kids programmes tailored to meet the age and stage of your children, with a focus of God at the centre.
Ngā Kākano o te Rongopai translates to 'seeds of the gospel.'
This is our ministry for our littlest kids aged 3 & 4. Each Sunday during the term they have morning tea, sing & dance, hear a bible story, and do a craft!
While this programme is running, parents are welcome in the creche with their babies and toddlers (ages 0-2) .
Our 5 - 12 year olds have their own programme which often includes a time of singing, prayer, games, and then a story from the bible.
Then our intermediates break off into their own small group to reflect on the story, while our primary school kids have their own reflections, often including something hands on such as crafts or activities.
We believe that parents are the most influential ‘faith builders’ in a child’s life. As a great way to see your child grow in their faith, we encourage you to make opportunities to talk with them about your faith and God. Each week we provide parents with the information about the upcoming lesson, via our Facebook page or email, and encourage you to introduce the Bible story to your children at home before they come on Sunday.
